Eatmarna App Allows Pilgrims To Book Umrah
Category: Saudi Arabia

Foreign and domestic pilgrims can now book and obtain special permits to perform Umrah through the Eatmarna application, according to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

After the annual Hajj pilgrimage season, the Umrah pilgrimage season will begin on Muharram 1, 1444, which corresponds to July 30, 2022.

Since Thursday, July 14, the ministry has been receiving requests to issue visas for pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom, provided that they can perform Umrah and visit the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah starting from Muharram 1.

The requirements for issuing an Umrah visa can be found on the ministry's link: https://haj.gov.sa/ar/InternalPages/Umrah.

By using the Eatmarna application, Umrah visas will be issued in accordance with an integrated system of health services and measures approved by the relevant authorities to ensure the safety and health of pilgrims and visitors, while ensuring the ease and comfort of Umrah rituals.

The ministry had announced last week that foreign agents must submit a qualification request through the portal of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (https://umralicense.haj.gov.sa) in order to provide services for Umrah pilgrims and visitors.

Furthermore, they should adhere to the rules and regulations described in the portal, and attach documents and data related to commercial registration, membership in the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and personal information.
