Tulane University in the United States of America has recognized Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi with the prestigious International Award for Exceptional Achievement. The award was presented at the 48th award ceremony of the university.

University graduates who represent the highest standards of excellence and demonstrate outstanding performance in professional fields and community service on a local and international level were honoured with this award. Speaking at the ceremony after receiving the award, Dr. Hanan said that the foreign scholarship program is an integral part of Saudi Arabia's education strategy, contributing to acquiring knowledge from distinguished institutions around the world. Currently, there are more than 50,000 Saudi scholarship students studying in American universities.

Dr. Hanan praised the launch of the strategy of the Custodian of the Holy Mosques Scholarship Program by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, who is also chairman of the Human Capability Development Program Committee. He stated that the program aims to enroll students in elite educational institutions around the world with a focus on high-level education and capability development, research, and to meet the needs of the Saudi Arabian development projects.

Saudi Arabia has undergone many changes in the past few years, she said. She said Vision 2030 has contributed to empowering women in society and increasing their participation in various fields by serving as an engine for change at the social, cultural, and economic levels. According to her, all of this is due to the huge investment in women's education in the Kingdom.

Dr. Hanan thanked the Board of Directors of Tulane University for choosing her for this award. She also congratulated those who received awards from the university this year in various categories. Dr. Hanan said after the ceremony that the selection of her for this award was made possible by King Salman and the Crown Prince's great support and keenness for Saudi women.

This gave me the opportunity to become a participant in decision-making and an active player in advancing development, as well as earning many scientific, economic, and social achievements,” she explained. The wise leadership's confidence in Saudi women has contributed to their participation in international and regional forums and representation on all occasions, says Dr. Hanan.
