Attempt To Smuggle Drugs Into Kingdom Foiled

The Jordanian security and customs authorities foiled an attempt to smuggle more than 1 million amphetamine pills into Saudi Arabia.
The anti-narcotics officers arrested four suspected smugglers and seized the haul of pills which were hidden in a truck bearing the number plates of an Arab country.
The suspected smugglers, whose identity was not revealed, were transferred to the state security authorities for investigation.
