This year, Tatweer for Education Technologies Co. (TETCO) launched the Masruf system, which is expected to benefit 84,000 private school students.

Masruf is an electronic application and platform that connects private school students through an electronic bracelet. As well as serving as a channel for communication with parents, as well as controlling students' attendance and disbursement of funds, this bracelet facilitates purchasing and payment at the school canteen or for other school sales.

In the public and private sectors, TETCO offers high quality education and communication digital and technology solutions.

Masruf consists of four applications. There are four of them: wali al-amr (guardian), maqsaf (canteen), hudhoor (attendance), and hafila (bus).

Using the guardian application, the student's account can be credited via Visa card or Apple Pay from the guardian's device. Students can also set a daily, weekly, or monthly spending limit through the application. In addition, it determines the types of foods that cause allergies for each child and schedules his meals for the next month according to the diet he follows.

When the child enters and leaves school, as well as when the child boards and gets off the bus, the app provides instant notifications. Additionally, parents can view the latest school developments, approve activities, and pay their fees online.

The canteen app allows students to purchase through their bracelets by scanning them on the mobile of the canteen employee. Allergies will prevent the student from purchasing the designated food. Students who have meals scheduled by their guardians will receive them in a special canteen box.

By scanning the bracelet upon entry and exit on the sensor located at the gate, the Hudhoor app assists in locating the student. Students who leave early with their approved guardians must swipe the sensor, and the device will display a red warning, provided the guardian swipes his own card to give permission.

The supervisor confirms that each student has boarded the bus in the 'bus' application, and an immediate notification is sent to the guardian. Furthermore, the app notifies the guardian when the bus is approaching his house, and when the student gets off the bus and reaches home. In addition, it allows knowing if a student had registered an early exit from school and would not be riding the bus that day.

There are 84,000 students expected to use the new e-system this year, which is an innovative idea that could be adopted by the rest of the Kingdom.

'Masruf' will be linked to two accounts on the website, which are both linked to the school and help it to synchronize information with the system, namely: the school account and the canteen account. As part of the school account, students can access their names, national and school ID numbers, and all their data, as well as monitoring their finances and the gate number through which they entered, which can easily be updated and added to with ease.

The guardian's communication panel informs him of school updates and sends notifications, and includes important links such as the school calendar, appointment booking, school policy mats, and communication with the school. A student's information on the bus, his route from school to home, the names of his supervisors, and the time of his departure and return are displayed on the bus system's control panel.

Using the school's account, a specific guardian or several guardians can be approved by the school, allowing them to receive the student and ask permission to receive them early. Giving the guardians a programmed card to use when receiving the student makes it easy to add them.

Additionally, the account includes the "Accredited Parents Activity Panel", which displays all details of the approved parent's receipt of the student, and the billing control panel, which includes all invoices, transfers, and payments.
