Local media reported that a Saudi citizen pardoned the killer of his only son and demanded nothing from the killer's family.

At the ceremony of pardoning the killer of the young Saudi boy, Prince Turki bin Talal, the governor of the Asir region, attended. In response to Prince Turki's request, the family decided to forgive the culprit.

Having made all Saudis proud, Prince Turki praised the family for their kind deed.

A long-standing tribal conflict was also resolved at the pardoning ceremony.

A Saudi father pardoned his son's killer minutes before he was executed earlier last year.

The father did not demand blood money from his son killer's family, instead setting a condition that the convict's family would not celebrate the pardon.
