Starting Friday, 3rd June 2022, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia is able to register local pilgrims from within the Kingdom for a period of 9 days.
According to the Ministry, the sorting of pilgrims does not depend on the order of their registration, and registrations for domestic pilgrims will last for nine days, until Saturday, 11th June 2022.
Citizens of Saudi Arabia and resident expatriates under 65 years of age who have taken three doses of Corona vaccine and have an Immune status in Tawakkalna will be able to register as domestic pilgrims this year.
The Ministry has instructed pilgrims to follow health instructions and follow all precautionary measures to preserve their health and safety during the Hajj rituals.
Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, stated that the Ministry will focus on ensuring the health of pilgrims during this year's Hajj season, highlighting that the implementation of the Hajj smart card will help in organizing the Hajj season perfectly.
This year's Hajj will accommodate 1 million domestic pilgrims to ensure the safety of pilgrims due to the Corona pandemic and ensure the quality of services provided, with everyone's safe return to their home countries.
This week, Jawazat warned that anyone caught without a permit fingerprinting for Hajj will be deported and prohibited from entering the Kingdom for 10 years.
