Due to the approaching holy month of Ramadan, the Tawakkalna application allows people to book the timings of permits for performing Umrah in Ramadan.
The Tawakkalna application has added a new icon called "Manasik Gate," which allows people to book Umrah permits through it, as well as permits for performing prayer, Tawaf, Prayer in Rawdah Al-Sharif (Men), Prayer in Rawdah Al-Sharif (Women), and visiting Prophet Muhammad's grave.
There are 12 times during the day and night in the Tawakkalna application for performing Umrah so Saudi citizens and resident expats can choose the time that is convenient for them, with a 2 hour period to complete the entire ritual.
Since the Tawakkalna app started issuing Umrah permits during the holy month of Ramadan, Fridays have seen higher reservations, while the rest of the days are not nearly as crowded.
In the year 2022, the first day of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia is expected to fall on 2nd April (Saturday). Weather predictions indicate that the crescent will be visible after sunset on Friday (1st April 2022).
