They can call their family to stay with them for specific time span. The immediate family members include father, mother, wife, children, sisters, father-in-law, mother-in-law. 

Saudi family visit visa is a legal document which is required to invite your family members from your country.

Required Document for Saudi Family Visit Visa

 Original Copy of Valid Saudi Iqama / Residential Permit of Saudi Arabia.
 Copy of applicant’s passport.
 Passport copies of all the family members who are supposed to Visit.
 Legally prescribed profession to apply for Saudi family visit visa.
 The Iqama of the Expats shall be Valid for next 3-4 Months.

Steps to be Followed for Procuring family Visit Visa

 Download & get the Print of the Visa Application Form
 To be attested & signed by your Authorised Sponsor.
 All the above mentioned documents need to be presented, along with Visa
Application Form duly signed by Sponsor, to the Chamber of Commerce. The entire process is known as “TAFEEL”

How to Apply the Saudi family Visit Visa Online

 Visit the Website of Ministry of foreign Affairs & Fill the form of Family Visit Visa Application form online itself

 There are Different Language options available in the Website; you can opt for English or Arabic, as per your preferred Language, to fill the form.

 The Expats here are acting as KAFEEL, the one who is inviting his family members to visit Saudi, one need to mention his name as Kafeel.
 As this is not Religious or Group Tour, Choose on Individual option followed by Resident as your status.(Click on Individuals Chose Resident)
 Press the “Family Visit Visa Application” option available downward.
 And Fill the Form Press the Submit Button
 Keep a Print out of the Duly Filled Online Application Form.

Process of Checking Application Status online

 Visit website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA)
 Go to type of Application Submitted Option.
 To validate, one need to mention his / her Application number/Iqama
Number/Muqeem Number or Image code.
 Press the button “Inquire”
 The status* will appear on your Screen.

** As the Government Offices are going online in most of the Office Work, No need to visit the Chamber Of Commerce Offices first, Individuals are being suggested to Fill the Application Form online & than if called for further procedure, can visit the office on demand for signatures of Government Officers
*** Normally it takes3 Working days in processing of Application Form, it is suggested that any Individual who has applied for family Visit Visa shall keep an eye on the online Status.

If a Married Sister of any Expats is visiting him /her, she need to have a Written Permission from her Husband

Additional Pointes to be noted

 Any Application can be treated as Rejected, Need not to worry, one can reapply.
 The Visa need to be stamped with in stipulated time of 3 months, once approved by
Embassy of Saudia.
 The Members of the family are supposed to Visit within 90 days (3 Months) from the
date of Stamping of Visa, otherwise it will expire automatically.
 If profession of any Expat doesn’t fall under the Approved Category of this Family
Visit Visa programme, he/she can change the profession mentioned in Iqama.
 If the visit Visa is valid for 90 Days, it can be extended only one time.
 If the visit Visa is valid for 30 Days, it can be extended for Five time.
