As of Aug. 1, 2022, U.S. diplomatic missions in Saudi Arabia will extend the validity of visitor visas (B1/B2) for Saudi citizens from five to ten years.
A reciprocal agreement has been reached with the Saudi government to extend the validity of visitor visas to further facilitate tourism and business between our two countries.
The facilitation of legitimate travel contributes significantly to both of our economies, builds and strengthens relationships between our people, and increases mutual understanding between the US and Saudi citizens.
A visa validity extension builds on previous efforts to facilitate tourist and business travel. This program complements the Interview Waiver Program announced earlier this year.
Interviews may be waived for Saudi citizens over 50 who are renewing visitor visas that have been expired for less than 48 months under the Interview Waiver Program.
