Saudi Aramco shares in Saudi Arabia reached their highest level since listing and reached 43.10 Saudi Riyals on Wednesday, 2nd March 2022.
The company's stock closed 4% higher at 43.05 per share, its highest closing since its debut, as nearly 40 million shares changed hands for a value of 1.7 billion Saudi Riyals.
Following this, Saudi Aramco's market capitalization reached 8.61 trillion Saudi riyals, or 2.3 trillion dollars.
In Wednesday's trading, oil prices exceeded 113 dollars per barrel as tensions in Eastern Europe continued, with Western nations imposing sanctions on Russia in response to its invasion of Ukraine.
In December 2019, Aramco was listed on the Saudi market. Saudi Aramco's primary objectives encompass all aspects of energy-related activities, including hydrocarbons, chemicals and other related and complementary industries, or any other activity within or outside the Kingdom.
