Category: Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development spokesperson, Saad Al Hammad, confirmed that there is no truth to what was circulated in the media and on social media about the ministry's intention to study how to reduce workdays.

Al Hammad noted the ministry is examining the labor law, which is a periodic review of the regulations in force, with the aim of increasing job creation and making the market more attractive to local and international investors.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Human Resources explained that the draft work system had previously been presented on an opinion poll platform, as part of the procedures adopted in the system studies.

Al Hammad called on all media outlets to ensure the accuracy of information they transmit and publish.

According to Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Saudi Labor Law is currently being studied to improve the labor market for both workers and investors.

According to Al-Rajhi, we want the new law to attract jobs and create jobs, thus creating more opportunities for our children to work.
