Three Corona restrictions have been lifted for travelers coming to Saudi Arabia from foreign countries, according to the Saudi Ministry of Health.
Corona restrictions are suspended for those coming from outside the Kingdom, including,
* Allowing travelers to enter Saudi Arabia without submitting a Corona vaccination certificate. Visitors who are not vaccinated can enter the Kingdom with any type of visa.
* Cancellation of PCR test upon entry into Saudi Arabia or when entering the Kingdom.
* Upon arrival in the Kingdom, travelers do not need to quarantine.
Covid-19 positive cases have dropped to less than 4% and the vaccination rate for all targeted groups of 12 years and older has reached 99%. These factors led to the lifting of these restrictions.
The Saudi Arabian government cancelled most of the Corona restrictions earlier this month, including suspension of social distancing measures in all closed and open places, and cancellation of wearing a mask in public or open places. Masks may still be worn indoors or closed places.
There is also a cancellation of institutional or home quarantine upon arrival, and a lifting of the suspension of direct entry into Saudi Arabia for certain countries. All types of visit visa holders must have health insurance to cover Corona infection expenses.
