The decision was conveyed during a phone conversation between the Saudi heir apparent and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. They also discussed the crisis in Ukraine.
He reiterated that the Kingdom supports everything that contributes to de-escalating the crisis, its willingness to be a mediator between all parties, and its commitment to all international efforts aimed at resolving the crisis politically.
During a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin earlier this month, the Saudi Crown Prince expressed willingness to mediate in the conflict and support for a political solution.
