In an advisory, Saudi Airlines (Saudia) warned tourism companies not to book tickets for Saudi visa-holders to less than four airports from 9th June 2022 (10th Dhu Al-Qaidah, 1443).
1. Jeddah Airport
2. Madina Airport
3. Yanbu Airport and
4. Taif Airport
The Saudi Arabian Airlines clarified that the period of its ban on entry to the mentioned 4 airports is valid until 9th July 2022 (10th Dhu Al-Hijjah, 1443).
Saudi Arabia has allowed those who have obtained Saudi visit visas to travel to Riyadh and other airports; however, the tour operator should be sure that no domestic tickets are issued to each of the 4 cities for the passengers to catch a return flight or for other purposes.
- According to the Saudi Gazette, the airline also stated that all visitors must return to the airport where they arrived.
