Saudi Arabia's Riyadh Police arrested 12 expats of Yemeni nationality on Friday for committing fraud and deception; 6 of them violated border security regulations; and 6 other expats had violated residency regulations.

By creating fake links similar to one of the government platforms and promoting them in social media and messages, they claimed to be providing services.

In Riyadh, a housing unit that served as their headquarters was used to seize money from victims and transfer it outside the Kingdom.

33 mobile phones and 15,616 riyals were seized from them, and they were arrested. All legal measures were taken against them, and they have been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
