In Indonesia, a quota of 100,051 pilgrims has been allotted, while Pakistan received 81,132, and India received 79,237 pilgrims. With a quota of 57,585, Bangladesh will send the fourth highest number of pilgrims.

According to the ministry, 85 percent of the one million pilgrims who will be allowed to perform Hajj this year are foreigners. A total of 850,000 foreign pilgrims will be allowed to perform Hajj, while the number of domestic pilgrims will be limited to 150,000. A total of 850,000 foreign pilgrims is only 45.2 percent of the actual quota of pilgrims that was allotted for each country before the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.

For this year's Hajj, the Ministry of Hajj has set certain terms and conditions for foreign pilgrims. There are several restrictions, including not allowing pilgrims over the age of 65 and requiring them to take two doses of the Coronavirus vaccine.
