Permitting Children Aged 7 And Older To Enter The Two Holy Mosques Under Certain Conditions
Category: Saudi Arabia

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that children older than seven years of age may enter the Two Holy Mosques, as long as their Tawakkalna status is 'Immune' and they have updated their data in the Absher system.

As part of this update, the emirate of Makkah Al-Mukarammah region announced that children 7 years of age and older can enter the Two Holy Mosques if they are immune. Before this, permits were only available to those aged 12 and older, now they are open to all.

This is to ensure their safety, the Ministry said. Any person wishing to perform Umrah must apply for a permit through the Eatmarna or Tawakkalna websites.

Permits for repeating Umrah will be issued once every ten days, according to the ministry. Is this going to continue during Ramadan? In this regard, the ministry clarified that any updates on the repeat of Umrah will be announced at the appropriate time.

In response to a question from one of the users, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that host Umrah visa is cancelled for the time being and that any developments will be announced.
