Lt. Col. Talal Al-Shalhoub, spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior in Saudi Arabia has announced that, regardless of vaccination status, non-vaccinated residents can enter the Kingdom.

Those who come to Saudi Arabia on any type of visit visa must have insurance in order to cover the costs of treatment in case they get infected with CAVID-19. Visit visas for Umrah and tourism are included. While the visitor is in the Kingdom, when the visa is extended, or on exiting and reentering.

Al-Shalhoub stated that it is not necessary to submit a negative PCR test certificate in order to enter the Kingdom. Unless the country to which the person will be traveling from Saudi Arabia requires it.

For Saudi citizens under the age of 16 and those with medical issues, a booster dose is a requirement to travel outside the Kingdom if they have spent 3 months since taking their second dose.

He added that institutional quarantine as well as home quarantine has been canceled for those who are coming to the Kingdom. Tawakkalna application immunity is still a requirement for entrance into companies, shops, or establishments.

- The spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior confirmed that the ministry had decided to end all corona restrictions in the country, including social distancing and wearing masks in public places.
