New Crescents Installed On King Abdulaziz Gate Minarets In Makkah Grand Mosque

The Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques has installed new crescents on the minarets of the King Abdulaziz Gate at the Grand Mosque in Makkah. The crescents are made of carbon fiber and gilded glass, and are 9 meters high and 2 meters wide.

The installation of the new crescents was carried out by the Agency for Projects and Engineering Studies, in collaboration with Success Partners, the Office of Construction Management for Makkah Al-Mukarramah Projects at the Ministry of Finance. The work was carried out in accordance with the best international technical specifications and practices.

The new crescents are among the most notable examples of Islamic architecture, and are a welcome addition to the Grand Mosque. They will help to enhance the beauty and grandeur of the holiest site in Islam.
