Minor Accident Reporting And Vehicle Ownership Transfer Now Available Through Absher

Residents in Saudi Arabia can now report minor accidents and transfer vehicle ownership through the Ministry of Interior’s electronic platform, Absher. These new online services were launched by Public Security Director Lt. Gen. Mohammed Al-Bassami during a ceremony at the Public Security headquarters in Riyadh. The event was held under the patronage of Minister of the Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif.

Additional Public Security online services introduced include:

. Transfer of vehicle ownership from a company to an individual
. Individual auction service 
. Number plate transfer service
. Reporting financial fraud incidents on bank cards (MADA)
. Extending the deadline for traffic violation payments
. Customs card display service
. Verification service for certificates proving no accidents occurred outside the Kingdom
. Enhanced portal for traffic servicesNumber plate replacement service

The launch of these services is part of the Ministry of Interior’s ongoing digital transformation journey and Public Security’s commitment to automating services. These efforts aim to provide efficient electronic services and digital solutions to citizens, expatriates, and visitors, allowing them to complete procedures smoothly and conveniently. This initiative is supported by strategic partnerships with the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) and the National Information Center.
