Many countries have recently adjusted their travel rules due to a dip in Omicron infection following a spike. Several governments have eliminated the pre-departure PCR test for inbound travelers. The ease of travel restrictions for fully vaccinated travelers is seen as a boost to international travel.

BAHRAIN :

As per Bahrain's Civil Aviation Affairs, passengers will no longer need to present a PCR test before boarding starting on February 4th, 2022. They were however required to undergo a PCR test when they arrived at Bahrain International Airport.

Non-vaccinated passengers must follow precautionary quarantine. Travelers still need to follow the precautionary measures in effect in the Kingdom. A decision from the Government Executive Committee led to the new update.

KUWAIT :

As of 20th February 2022, Kuwait has eliminated the requirement for pre-arrival PCR tests and home quarantine for fully vaccinated passengers entering the country.

Non-vaccinated passengers, however, are still required to have a negative PCR test. After their arrival, they must spend one week in home quarantine. They must conduct a PCR test of their arrival on the 7th day.If they test negative, the quarantine period can be ended soon.

INDIA :

Over 85 countries will no longer be required to perform pre-departure PCR tests for fully vaccinated passengers to India from 14th February 2022. Passengers can upload their vaccination certificates through the government.

India announced earlier this month that passengers from more than 80 countries can enter the country with a negative PCR test or a certificate of completed primary vaccinations. The list features passengers from USA, UK, Switzerland, Australia, Sweden, Spain and Sri Lanka.

On February 10, India removed the seven day quarantine rule, as well as the list of at-risk countries.

Several countries, including Finland, Singapore, Brunei, Croatia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Cyprus, Denmark, Greece, Portugal, Norway, Switzerland, Thailand, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey and Vietnam have also dropped PCR tests for vaccinated travelers to enter their entry points.
