Kingdom World’s Sole State To Implement E-voting

Saudi Arabia is the world’s sole state that implements the electronic voting, which increased the attendance of the corporate general meetings by five times, Okaz newspaper has reported, citing Mohammed ElKuwaiz, Chairman of the Capital Market Authority (CMA).
“The Kingdom has reached an advanced stage in the implementation of the corporate governance over the last three years in line Saudi Vision 2030,” ElKuwaiz added on the sidelines of the first international conference on corporate governance in Saudi Arabia held in Corporate Governance Center at Alfaisal University.
