Saudi Arabia's General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) announced that it will add the 'service of issuing a travel permit for Iraq' on Absher platform through the Tawasul service.
The purpose of this is to facilitate beneficiaries to obtain a travel permit without the need to review it at Jawazat headquarters or its branches, while complying with the terms and conditions described during the implementation of this service.
Jawazat stated the following steps in order to avail the service of traveling permit to Iraq through Absher :
1. Sign in to your Absher account and verify the OTP.
2. Choose the "Passports" sector under "Services" and "My Services"
3. After that, click the Tawasul (Communication) Service, create a new request, and specify the type of request for "Travel permits for exempted countries".
4. Choose the subservice "Travel Permit to Iraq".
5. Write a brief description of the request to the committee closest to you.
6. Include a copy of the applicant's national identification card, as well as the family cards of the companions.
Jawazat noted that the permit form is available on the Jawazat website, and proof of residency approved by the neighborhood chief should be included in the attachments column.
