The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia, Mohammed Al-Abdali, expected an increase in the number of corona infections in the Kingdom in the coming period. During his interview with Al-Ekhbariya channel, Al-Abdali added that, We remain concerned and sorry for every case that hesitated to receive and complete the vaccine and was exposed to, or will be exposed to, the virus. - He said, Despite the high cases of coronavirus infection in the Kingdom, there is reassurance with the Ministry of Health, that a large percentage of society has received the Corona vaccine.

- Al-Abdali added that most of those infected with the Corona virus are asymptomatic or have mild symptoms, if they have received two doses of the vaccine, and this is an important gain from the vaccines.

- He continued stating that the symptoms of infection with the Corona virus "are severe and lead to hypnosis or death, among those who have not received anti-Corona vaccines."

- The spokesperson said that the booster dose enhances immunity and reduces the spread of the Omicron variant, highlighting that vaccines have positive fruits, as those who complete them are “very safe from severe disease,” and booster doses raise the levels of antibodies in the body “double times” while reducing the chances of spread.

- Al-Abdali highlighted the need to receive doses of vaccines for the Corona virus, noting that he did not care about the number of registered cases. “The most important thing is taking doses and applying precautionary measures, not following up on the number of cases of the Corona virus.”

- He added, "The increase in the number of cases of the Corona virus is not only in Saudi Arabia, but in the whole world, and our concern Today is those who did not receive Corona vaccines."
