Expats Arrested After Converting Residential Apartments Into PlayStation Video Game Factories

The Joint Operations Room of the Riyadh Municipality dispensed with the expatriates that transformed an apartment in the center of Riyadh into a factory to re-manufacture 'PlayStation' video games.
A joint operations room team from the Riyadh Municipality seized an apartment run by illegal workers, where they tried to sell it as new by placing a fake barcode on it.
After a surprise visit by 12 government departments, the municipality confirmed that the site had been closed. Violators were arrested and referred to the relevant authorities so that they could be punished.
The Amanat Al-Riyadh confirmed that they were placing fake barcodes on used devices and then selling them as new.
