Saudi Census 2022, the first national census of Saudi citizens and residents in 12 years, is now underway as the last general census took place in 2010, when the country's population was 27,136,977.

This general census collects and analyzes data on the country's population and housing, making it available to decision makers, the private sector, and community members for use. As part of Saudi Vision 2030, the Saudi Census 2022 will be a pillar of planning and policy making.

Saudi Census 2022 will begin on 9th May and run until 15th June in the following ways, its data will be confidential, 

1. Self-Counting: According to Al-Arabiya, individuals and families can fill out their own data without visiting the field researcher.

2. In addition to the Saudi Census 2022 website, self-counting can also be done through the unified national access platform, or the General Authority of Statistics website, after making sure there is a sticker on the housing unit.

3. In cities, it is also possible to fill out data forms by visiting Self-enumeration stations, which are located in shopping centers.

4. Last but not least, a field count is conducted by field researchers who visit all families in the Kingdom and fill out a census form after verifying individuals' identities with their national IDs, family registrations, or residency permits (iqama).

Saudi residents are asked to participate in the Saudi Census 2022 as a matter of national duty and social responsibility, and to cooperate with the field workers in providing their information as accurately as possible.
