In Saudi Arabia, the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) stated that domestic workers are not entitled to the benefit of splitting iqama fees.

Jawazat received the inquiry through its official Twitter account, in which one of the workers asked, Is it possible to renew the Iqama of a private driver for three months?

The Saudi Jawazat added that work permits related to iqamas (residence permits) are issued and renewed quarterly, at the very least every three months.

Additionally, Jawazat clarified that it excludes domestic workers and similar workers, the division of the fee for the work permit, iqama, the financial compensation, and the fees for getting the mentioned iqama according to the length of the residence permit.

- The General Directorate of Passports advised citizens who plan to travel outside the Kingdom in the coming days to meet health requirements.

Furthermore, Jawazat said that the health requirements of the country to which you wish to travel must be checked, and that everything issued by the competent authorities should be followed up.
