Do Not Let Unvaccinated School Children Sit For Exams - MOE
Category: Saudi Arabia

In order to prevent unvaccinated students from taking the end-of-second-semester exams, the Ministry of Education has issued instructions to all school authorities across the Kingdom.

Okaz/Saudi Gazette obtained a copy of a ministry circular, which instructs schools to treat unvaccinated students as "absentees" and prevent them from entering school.

At the end of the second semester, no exams would be conducted remotely for any students, according to the ministry.

"All boys and girls who are not immunized against coronavirus will be tested according to the method used for conducting exams for absentees.

The circular states that if their excuses for absence are accepted, exams will be held for them at the beginning of the third semester.

In the meantime, the Education Department in Taif, in coordination with the Health Affairs Department, is expediting the vaccination drive at the Taif University Vaccination Center in Al-Hawiyah on a daily basis from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This is part of the department's efforts to ensure that they have all received the doses of the Coronavirus vaccine prior to the start of the exams.
