After Lifting The Suspension, GACA Issues Instructions To Airlines Operating In The Kingdom Regarding Travel Conditions

Airline companies operating in Saudi Arabia have been instructed to lift precautionary and preventive measures related to the Corona pandemic by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA).

GACA confirmed of lifting the suspension of direct entry to the Kingdom from the suspended countries, of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, Malawi, Mauritius, Zambia, Madagascar, Angola, Seychelles, Comoros, Nigeria, Ethiopia and Afghanistan.

A decision by the Civil Aviation Authority included no longer requiring those coming to Saudi Arabia to submit a negative result of a "PCR" test and canceling the application of institutional quarantine and home quarantine.

In addition, the Authority referred to several conditions related to decisions made after the lifting of precautions, including:

* Those coming to the Kingdom on any kind of visit visa are required to have medical insurance, which covers the costs in case they contract Covid-19.

* Application to check health status in Tawakkalna.

* The departure of Saudi Arabian citizens for the purpose of receiving a booster dose of corona vaccine, for those who have spent 3 months since receiving their second dose, with the exception of groups less than 16 years old and those exempted based on their status in Tawakkalna.

* Under the Saudi law, Saudi citizens under 18 are required to buy a travel insurance policy that covers Corona virus risks.
