A booster dose of coronavirus and its variants is now available for all those aged 16 and older, according to the Ministry of Health. For elderly and chronically ill patients, the booster dose has been made available earlier.

Earlier, the ministry announced on its Twitter account that people who have completed eight months after taking the first booster dose can register for the second dose. Through the ministry's Sehhaty application, an appointment for the second booster dose can be made.
Under 50-year-olds suffering from immunodeficiency diseases can now receive a second booster dose of the vaccine, according to Abdullah Asiri, deputy minister of health for preventive health.
In case of severe diseases such as organ transplantation, active cancer, and similar diseases that reduce immunity, individuals under the age of 50 can get the second booster dose.
