Land patrol units of the Saudi Border Guard in the Al-Dayer sector of the Jazan Region arrested 11 Ethiopian nationals for violating border security regulations after they allegedly attempted to smuggle 220 kilograms of the narcotic plant khat into the Kingdom.
According to authorities, the suspects were apprehended during a border security operation. The Border Guard completed the necessary legal procedures before referring the detainees, along with the seized khat, to the relevant authorities for further action.

Officials confirmed that all required legal measures were carried out following the arrests. The confiscated narcotic substance and the individuals involved were handed over to the competent authorities to continue the investigation and judicial process.
