According to the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat), expatriates who wish to change the personal photo on their residency permit (iqama) must meet three requirements.
The Jawazat confirmed that the procedure involves an appointment with the Jawazat office and personally contacting the office at the allotted time. In addition to a valid passport, the Jawazat said the passport photo must be recent, and the head must not be covered.
