The Absher platform in Saudi Arabia clarified the process for extending the exit and reentry visas of domestic workers.
A citizen posted an inquiry on Twitter, asking, "I have a driver who is late in returning, and his 90 days exit re-entry visa has expired for four months, how can I extend it on Absher?".
This case requires the beneficiary (a citizen or resident) to enter his account information on the Absher Individuals (Afrad) account and follow the required below steps.
The sponsor must follow these steps in order to extend the domestic worker's exit re-entry visa:
1. Log in to your Absher Individuals account and verify your OTP.
2. Click on "Workers" and then on "Services" (Sponsorees' services).
3. Click 'Visa Services' then select the name of the resident Expat, for whom you wish to extend the exit re-entry visa.
4. Click on 'More Details'.
5. Then click on 'Extend Exit and Re-Entry visa'.
Sponsored workers outside Saudi Arabia who wish to extend their exit re-entry visas must meet the following conditions:
1. The sponsor and beneficiary should not be dead, absent or have Istiqdam violations.
2. The beneficiary should not be present in the Kingdom at the time of the extension of the Exit-Re-Entry visa.
3. The return before date should be seven days before the expiry date of the Iqama.
4. For Single Exit Re-Entry Visa, the Iqama validity should be equal to or greater than the visa duration + 90 days.
5. If 'Return Date' is selected, the selected date is the last date of return to Saudi Arabia.
6. When there is a difference in dates, the Gregorian date will be used.
7. Pay the fee of extending visa fee.
8. Visa cannot be extended for more than 180 days.
