The Ministry Of Hajj Does Not Require A Permit For Prayer At The Grand Mosque
Category: Saudi Arabia

On Saturday, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that there is no need to obtain a permit and schedule an appointment to offer prayers at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.

With the new decision, worshipers can now pray at the Two Holy Mosques and visit the grave of the Prophet (peace be upon him) without obtaining a permit.

Permits will still be required to perform Umrah and pray at Al-Rawdah Sharifa, according to the ministry.

"On the Tawakkalna application, the immune status is the only requirement to enter and pray at the Two Holy Mosques," the ministry claimed.
