Category: Saudi Arabia

In Makkah Grand Mosque, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has introduced robots that guide visitors on how to perform their Umrah rituals, provide fatwas, answer questions, and provide opportunities for communication with scholars remotely.

The robots provide guidance to visitors in 11 languages, including Arabic, English, French, Russian, Persian, Turkish, Malay, Urdu, Chinese, Bengali, and Hausa.

With the robot, you will be able to add simultaneous interpretation for other languages, communicate with sheikhs remotely, and provide several guidelines in more than one language.

4-wheeled robots are equipped with 21-inch touchscreens and are equipped with a smart stopping system that allows them to move freely and smoothly.

- The remotely controlled robots also have high resolution cameras that provide clear picture transmission, high resolution headphones, and a microphone that provides clear sound transmission.

These robots use a wireless network system with a speed of 5 GHz that allows rapid and high transmission of data.
