The Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Passports, unveils a new passport stamp under the "Mecca Route Initiative," enhancing the pilgrimage journey for international visitors.
Key Details of the Initiative:
The newly introduced passport stamp, featuring the initiative's visual identity, aims to simplify entry procedures for Hajj pilgrims from seven specific countries.
Dedicated processing halls equipped with the special stamp are established at 11 airports across Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, and Côte d’Ivoire.
The streamlined system expedites travel procedures, enabling pilgrims to bypass lengthy processes upon arrival in Saudi Arabia.
