A groundbreaking 650km-long railway project linking Saudi Arabia with Kuwait is slated for completion by 2028, promising to significantly reduce travel time to just two hours.
According to officials from the ministry of public works, the railway will originate from Al Shaddadiya in Kuwait, traversing through Riyadh city in Saudi Arabia.
The ambitious endeavor will unfold in three crucial phases. The initial phase involves meticulous study and route analysis, anticipated to span approximately three months. Officials indicate that preparations and approvals for this phase are nearing completion.
Subsequently, the project will transition into the design phase, allocated a timeframe of one year. Finally, the execution phase will commence, expected to span three years, marking the tangible realization of the ambitious Saudi-Kuwait railway network.
