The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia issued a circular to airlines regarding the suspension of flights coming from and to Nigeria, including updating the approved institutional quarantine procedures for citizens coming to the Kingdom from the suspended countries.
The GACA in a statement issued by it, said that the decision to suspend flights from Nigeria, and to update the institutional quarantine procedures for citizens coming to the Kingdom, excluding those who have spent a period of not less than 14 days in another country from which they are allowed to come
- The Civil Aviation confirmed the application of the entire institutional quarantine procedures for a period of 5 days to non-citizens (Expatriates) coming from Nigeria, with a PCR test on the first day and the 5th day, regardless of the state of their vaccination status.
- The Authority explained that, the home quarantine will be applied to citizens coming from all countries suspended from them for a period of 5 days, given that the traveler performs a PCR test on the 1st day and the 5th day, regardless of the immunization status.
- The GACA issued instructions to all airlines regarding the suspension of flights coming from Nigeria, and updating the approved institutional quarantine procedures for Saudi citizens coming to the Kingdom from all the suspended countries.
