Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the authorities in Saudi Arabia have resumed issuing visas on arrival to holders of United States (US), United Kingdom (UK) and Schengen valid visas, if they qualify for an electronic visa.

After lifting most Corona restrictions 3 weeks ago, Saudi Arabia has decided to grant these visa holders a 12-month tourist visa upon arrival.

Holders of US, UK, or Schengen visas are eligible for the visa upon arrival in the Kingdom as long as they have used their visa at least once and travel through any of Saudi Arabia's national airlines, Saudia, Flynas, or Flyadeal.

Each traveler must have a valid health insurance plan that covers Corona virus expenses, adding that travelers can purchase a health insurance plan when they arrive in Saudi Arabia.

- Citizens of the other eligible countries for the e-visa program can also get a visa on arrival, no matter which airline they are traveling with.

A majority of the Corona restrictions have been lifted in Saudi Arabia, including the outdoor mask.

From 6th March 2022, the Kingdom will no longer require a negative PCR certificate, institutional or home quarantine.
