The Minister of Health in Saudi Arabia, Fahd Al-Jalajel said that the capacity of the intensive care units (ICUs) now is equivalent to the capacity of the last 20 years.

He explained that the intensive care is the highest stage of health care and the highest cost, and the absorptive capacity of ICUs was raised during the pandemic only in all regions of the Kingdom, more than it was raised during the past 20 years.

- Al-Jalajel continued his speech stating, In addition, "Tatman" clinics have been established in the Kingdom, which have benefited more than 4 million people. 

- He added that, Four specialized laboratories and others were opened in all regions of Saudi Arabia, to reach the Kingdom and exceed 120,000 Corona tests per day, which put the Kingdom at the first level in the Covid test rates in the G20 countries, and the rate of vaccination with two doses in the community reached the total target group over the age of the age of 12 to 94%, and the immunization rate of the existing population is 74%.
