The incident, involving Flynas flight No. XY 224, occurred at 7:34 pm on Sunday, April 28. The aircraft came to a halt on the adjacent tarmac, passing through the Runway Safety Area without sustaining damage.
Following the incident, passengers were safely disembarked, and their well-being was assessed by airport management. The airport management expressed gratitude for the absence of injuries and assured that regulatory procedures are underway.
Additionally, the National Road Safety Center received a report of the incident, involving an Airbus A320 operated by Flynas, colliding with a signboard after skidding off the runway. Investigation procedures are underway to determine the cause of the incident.
