The pilot of an air control airplane miraculously survived a crash during a routine mission in the Al-Harith governorate, located in the southern Jazan region.

Details of the Plane Crash

The airplane, which belonged to a company operating under the Saudi National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases (Waqaa), was involved in combating insect disease vectors. The crash took place during one of the ongoing control operations.

Pilot in Stable Condition

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the pilot is in stable condition, receiving necessary medical attention.

Air Control Operations to Continue

Despite the incident, Waqaa confirmed that air control operations to combat insect vectors in the Jazan region will continue as planned, with no major disruptions expected.
