Permanently Removal Of An Expat Worker From Saudi Arabia After Posting Offensive Tweets

The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia, Saad Al Hammad, announced the permanent removal of an employee from the Kingdom, after he published offensive tweets.

Al-Hammad in his statements to Al-Arabiya news said that the ministry verified the company in which an expatriate of Arab nationality worked for publishing offensive tweets.

- He confirmed that the company removed the employee as soon as it aware of his employee offensive tweets, pointing out that the expatriate had left the Kingdom with a final exit visa.

99% of the expat workers in Saudi Arabia failed the Professional Examination test :

In another report, Al-Ekhbariya channel sheds light on expat workers in the Kingdom, highlighting that 14,480 workers are not qualified for the labor market inside the Kingdom, due to the failure to pass the necessary tests according to the “professional examination” program, which aims to improve the quality of the work of the professional workforce in the Kingdom.

- Al-Ekhbariya channel said that the professional examination program operates through 34 centers, to require all companies to examine its workers in the targeted professions. Where it seeks to achieve its goals to be a leading contributor to the development of the professional workforce according to international standards that meet the needs of the market, in addition to improving productivity in the labor market.

- The report stated that 8 million expatriates work in the Kingdom, less than 1% of them took the professional examination test, and the result is that a quarter of them failed and 99% did not take the test at all.
