Ministry Of Tourism: Tourist Visa Holders Cannot Perform The Hajj Pilgrimage

A visit visa holder for tourism purposes is not eligible to perform Hajj rituals in Saudi Arabia.
Those who obtain a tourist visa cannot perform Hajj while in the Kingdom or perform Umrah during Hajj season as set by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
Tourist visa holders can, however, perform Umrah during normal days by booking an appointment through Eatmarna or Tawakkalna. Umrah is prohibited during Hajj season so that pilgrims can perform their rituals easily.
In its statement, the Ministry of Tourism urged those who wish to come to Saudi Arabia on tourist visas to abide by the pledges that were approved, and to examine the instructions before obtaining the visa, in order to avoid violating any regulations.
