Astronomer researcher Mellham bin Mohammed Hindi revealed that this Friday, May 22, will be the day of the investigation of the crescent of Eid Al Fitr in most Islamic countries.
Et said that this comes along with the noble Prophet’s Sunnah, to verify Eid Al Fitr, explaining that until the conditions for seeing the crescent are met, the crescent must be born before sunset and the moon will set after sunset, and these dates can be calculated astronomically.
He added: “My astronomical calculations indicate that the birth of the Eid crescent will take place at 8:39 pm, 22nd Saudi time, that is, after sunset in all regions of the Kingdom.”
He continued: “In view of the conditions of the crescent in that evening, the vision will be impossible, as the time of legal legitimacy will be immediately after sunset, and at that time the moon will not be present in the sky, so it is impossible to see.”
