Passport requirements for temporary trips outside Saudi Arabia have been released by the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat).

The Jawazat explains that residents can travel outside of the Kingdom with the requirement of having a valid visa, as well as a valid travel document, as well as complying with the entry requirements of the country they are traveling to.

Further, the Jawazat called earlier on citizens and residents to update their postal details in the Absher system and the Muqeem portal to facilitate the delivery of documents and notifications issued by the Directorate via Saudi Post, "SPL".

Earlier this year, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) issued a circular to all airlines operating in the airports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including private airlines, to update travel procedures to and from the Kingdom.
