Riyadh Airports tweeted today afternoon and clarifies that resumption of ‘International flights’ are still on hold until further notice. This is in response to the circulating message that international flights will open.
Airports Company denied the validity of the circulating letter regarding fixing tomorrow, June 8, the date for the resumption of international flights through King Khalid International Airport. The company said that the information contained in the letter relates to the transfer of operational operations for international trips related to the initiatives to return citizens from outside the Kingdom and a return initiative for residents wishing to return to their countries according to the plan established from terminal No. 1 at the airport to terminal No. 2.
They affirmed in a statement today (Sunday) that the date for the resumption of international flights in the Kingdom is related to what is decided by the competent authorities
