InterContinental Al Khobar with its signature buffet venue, Twist, sets the scene for the week-long Greek food festival until 18 October 2019. The festival is the first ever Greek culinary fare in the Eastern province and will feature a buffet of Greek home-cooked inspired dishes specially prepared by the hotel’s Executive Chef who hails from Greece.

Chef Emmanouil Kyriakidis who has recently been awarded the title of ‘Ambassador of Greek Gastronomy 2019’ would highlight some of his favorite ‘Taste of Home’ recipes during the festival, every evening between 7.00 pm and 11.00 pm.
“I am extremely excited for this food promotion as this is the first time we are bringing an authentic Greek flavors to Al Khobar and to let our guests experience my home-cooked inspired recipes”, said Emmanouil Kyriakidis, Executive Chef of InterContinental Al Khobar. “Not common to many, we want to take a step forward and introduce this delectable cuisine, having heard no authentic restaurant yet is offering Greek speciality in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia”, he added.

The festival opening night was attended by Mr Abdullatif Al-Bunyan, General Secretary of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Heritage and initiated the official opening together with the hotel General Manager, Paul C. Dunphy.
