In Saudi Arabia, A Snapchat Celebrity Offers SR1,000 For Lost Shoes

According to a Saudi newspaper, a Snapchat celebrity posted posters saying he lost his pair of shoes and offered SR1,000 to anyone who finds them.

Okaz added that the man, identified only by his initials A B, distributed the posters in Jeddah's western district calling for the return of stolen shoes.

Additionally, he propagated the advert on his Snapchat account.

It was reported that authorities in Jeddah have summoned the celebrity for violating the law by placing the posters "randomly" without obtaining a permit.

The city's municipal authorities are working with the police to arrest him, the paper said without providing further details.
