The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia revealed the importance of the booster dose of the Corona vaccine, explained that it raises the body's immunity against infection with the Corona virus.
The ministry said that the booster dose maintains your level of immunity, take the third or booster dose and maintain your immunity level.
The ministry published an infographic in response to a question, Why the booster dose? stating there are 4 reasons why it is necessary to take the booster dose, and they are as follows:
1. The immunity of body decreases after exceeding 6 months of taking the second dose.
2. Decreased protection from the delta mutant and the risk of infection.
3. High chances of infection with the Corona virus, especially for the elderly and those who have chronic diseases and organ transplant patients.
4. The high chances of spreading the delta variant, which is considered the most dangerous variant so far.
